By the end of the training participants will know:
*Who is a greatest risk for suicide?
*What are the signs that would indicate someone is depressed and at risk for suicide?
* What do I do if I recognize someone needs help?
We recognize that suicide can be a difficult topic to discuss but firmly believe that if we do not talk about it and if people do not learn about it, opportunities to save lives will be lost. Please consider allowing a speaker from our bureau address your group.
If you are interested in scheduling a speaker or if you have questions, please do not hesitate to call: Kathleen Kern at Lorain County Board of Mental Health 440-787-2078.
