The Consumer Network is an organization of mental health consumers meeting on a monthly basis to discuss common interests and concerns. Examples might be transportation, access to specific services, or issues dealing with satisfaction of services. Often a guest speaker from within the Network or from a community non-profit agency will join the group. The Consumer Network has the opportunity to ask questions and often offers suggestions for current and futre programming.
In addition to this, The Consumer Network acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Mental Health. The group has provided valuable input regarding client satisfaction and quality assurance issues.
